Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping on a state visit to Moscow in the spring. “Next year, the intensive bilateral exchange will continue, I have no doubt about that. And we will find an opportunity to meet in person,” Putin said in a video call with Xi published on the Kremlin website on Friday. Putin was in Beijing earlier this year for the Winter Olympics, and the two last met at a summit in Uzbekistan in the autumn. The relationship between the two states is currently seen as good.
