Denmark won the men’s handball world championship for a third time on Sunday with a 34-29 victory over Olympic champions France. The Danes become the first side to win the title three times in a row. Spain beat hosts Sweden 39-35 for the bronze medal. Outstanding goalkeeping from Andreas Wolff earlier helped Germany’s men finish fifth with a 28-24 win against Norway in Stockholm.
