The two-day run-off election to choose a new Czech president has a high turnout so far, as voting was in its final hours on Saturday. It is likely to be higher than in the first round a fortnight ago and in the last vote five years ago, when 66.6% of eligible citizens cast their ballots, as the CTK agency reported on Saturday. The vote is between former NATO general Petr Pavel and populist ex-prime minister and billionaire businessman Andrej Babiš.
