Wolfsburg have signed French defender Nicolas Cozza from Montpellier until June 2027, the Bundesliga club said on Wednesday. The 24-year-old player made his Ligue 1 debut in 2017, and made 99 top-flight appearances, scoring five goals Montpellier. He has also represented all of France’s youth national teams. “Nicolas is a player who has made great progress in recent years,” said Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer. “He has a good basic tactical understanding and is known for producing high-quality football, which he delivers on a consistent basis despite his young age.”
