The Netherlands wants the European Union to compel more countries to take back their citizens deemed ineligible to stay in the bloc through restricting visa access in a paper seen by dpa on Wednesday. The Dutch are calling on the EU to make greater use of existing powers to temporarily suspend visa benefits as leverage over countries that do not cooperate with deportation decisions.
