Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda on his way back to Ukraine from the United States. The two leaders discussed “strategic plans for the future, bilateral relations and interactions at an international level in 2023,” Zelensky said via his Telegram channel. Zelensky thanked Duda for Poland’s “unwavering and powerful support,” describing him as “a friend of Ukraine.” The precise location of the meeting was not disclosed. Video footage showed Zelensky disembarking from a plane and later embracing Duda before the two sat down at a table.
