Telecom providers in Germany may be fined by the national regulator for failing to expand their networks by a certain deadline. “The Federal Network Agency currently intends to impose a fine of up to €50,000 ($54,300) per location,” the Bonn-based authority wrote to its advisory board in a document seen by dpa.
