Ilka Stuhec of Slovenia secured her first World Cup win of the season in the downhill at Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy on Saturday, while Mikaela Shiffrin is still chasing a women’s record 83rd victory in alpine skiing. Stuhec, who claimed second place in Friday’s downhill, clocked 1 minute 04.73 seconds to beat Norway’s Kajsa Vickhoff Lie by 0.26 second. This was the second podium in the Norwegian’s career.
