World Cup leader Johannes Thingnes Bö has become the first biathlete to win five sprint races in a row as he claimed victory in the men’s 10-kilometre on Friday in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy. The Norwegian clocked 22 minutes 44.1 seconds and missed one target to take sole possession of the World Cup record, breaking a tie with Russia’s Vladimir Drachev. Bö has won all sprint races in the World Cup so far this season. Second place went to Martin Ponsiluoma of Sweden, who finished 31.4 seconds behind Bö and also with one missed target.
