Two years after passing a law to shield the home addresses of judges and law enforcement officials in New Jersey out of security concerns, state lawmakers are now advancing heavily debated legislation that keep their own addresses — and those of other politicians — from being released to the public. The measures would block out the home addresses of elected officials and political candidates on public documents in the state and no longer require lawmakers to list their properties on public disclosure forms.
