Montclair, NJ – Montclair’s Watchung Avenue train station, with its historic exterior restored back in 2005, has been a frequent target for vandalism in the past, specifically in the waiting room. On November 2, we emailed the township to ask after some residents asked why it had not yet opened, especially with the weather getting colder. There is a sign on the waiting room door stating that the premises are on a timed lock, but residents were telling us that they never find it open.
