Augsburg have signed Croatian forward Dion Beljo, the Bundesliga club said on Friday. The player joins the German team from Croatian side NK Osijek and has signed a contract until June 2027. “With him, we get a physically strong centre-forward who will strengthen our offensive game with his qualities and power,” Augsburg managing director Stefan Reuter said. Beljo added: “The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in Europe and it is very exciting for me to prove myself at this level.” Augsburg are 14th in the league and will resume their season at Borussia Dortmund on January 22.
