In the UK it’s the Royal Mail postal workers who are the latest to go on strike as the country faces a wave of industrial action. More than 115,000 workers stayed away on Friday and are due to strike on more days in the run-up to Christmas too, on December 14th, 15th, 23rd, and 24th. Airports, buses, railways, and roads all face potential gridlock as the economy is battered by an inflation high of 11.1 %.
