Bayern Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn reacted cautiously to calls by German football league (DFL) supervisory board chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke for more cooperation with the organization. “I have a very good connection with Aki Watzke, we exchange views on all important topics,” Kahn was quoted by the Bild newspaper. “Of course Bayern will take responsibility for German football in this difficult phase.” In which way the club would take responsibility “is up to Bayern,” he added, not giving further details.
