Johannes Hösflot Kläbo failed to achieve an unprecedented sweep all seven Tour de Ski stages but still handily won a third title in the prestigious cross-country race in a Norwegian one-two-three overall finish in Italy. Kläbo finished sixth in the final stage, a 10-kilometres freestyle mass start with a final climb up Alpe Cermis in Val di Fiemme, won by Simen Hegstad Krüger 4.8 seconds ahead of fellow-Norwegian Hans Christer Holund and 25 seconds clear of French podium novice Jules Lapierre.
