Olympic champion Katharina Hennig claimed a first cross country World Cup win in almost 14 years for the German women’s team on Saturday in Italy when she topped the sixth stage of the Tour de Ski in which Swede Frida Karlsson extended her overall lead. Hennig pushed ahead on the home straight in Val di Fiemme to win a 15-kilometres classic style mass start race ahead of Karlsson and Finland’s Kerttu Niskanen.
