Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen shook off three runner-up spots from recent races when he skied to a comprehensive first World Cup season win in a slalom in Germany on Wednesday. The former giant slalom world champion Kristoffersen was in a league of his own in Garmisch-Partenkirchen as he beat Austria’s Manuel Feller by 1.22 seconds, with French Olympic champion Clement Noel third, 1.46 seconds off the pace.
