EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell told Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal that European Union countries plan to train in total 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers. The official announcement was made during a visit of several European Commission officials to Kiev and doubles the target of the EU’s ongoing military training mission which was previously at 15,000.
