Slalom aces Lena Dürr and Linus Straßer head a 14-strong German team for the alpine skiing world championships in France which start on Monday. Dürr won the last World Cup slalom on Sunday in the Czech Republic and has three further podium finishes in her pet event, while Straßer has two third-place finishes in the discipline to his credit this season. German skiers won three silvers and a bronze at the last worlds 2021. The upcoming edition runs February 6-19 in Courchevel and Meribel.
