Tiril Udnes Weng claimed a first career victory in the cross country World Cup in Sunday’s second stage of the Tour de Ski in Switzerland which also marked the first season win for the Norwegian women’s team. Weng beat Finland’s Kerttu Niskanen and Frida Karlsson of Sweden on the home straight in a 10-kilometres classic style pursuit race in Val Müstair which skiers started based on results from Saturday’s sprint. “It was perfect.
