A 44-year-old man has been arrested weeks after a decomposed body was found in a garbage bag in a Trenton apartment, from which he had previously been evicted. David Gibson, of Trenton, is charged with desecration of human remains, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday. Gibson was evicted from the apartment on the 600 block of Beatty Street in November, authorities said. Prosecutors allege returned and placed the body in the trash bag after the person died.
