German police removed well-known climate activist Luisa Neubauer from where she was protesting on an access road to a village set to be demolished to make way for coal mining. Luisa Neubauer and around 100 other protesters had gathered at the site for a sit-in. Police surrounded the participants and brought or carried them away one by one.
