Supporters and family members of jailed Russian dissident Alexei Navalny said they are increasingly distressed about the 46-year-old’s health as he serves a nine-year sentence at a penal colony north-east of Moscow. Navalny had once again been unable to attend a court hearing because he was too ill to do so, his spokeswoman Kira Yarmysh wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
