Seven defendants accused of taking part in the 2016 terrorist attack on Brussels refused to attend a court hearing on Wednesday. According to their lawyers, the men were protesting against frequent body searches during which they have to undress, the Belgian news agency Belga reported. Five of the accused refused to leave their cells, and the other two men refused to participate after they were asked to undress in the search room.
